Shopping in Lyon: Retail
Summary of topic: You will become a shopaholic.
For the first few weeks I was in Lyon, I was absolutely obsessed with shopping... French fashion is amazing!
Shopping Centres
Part Dieu
Centre Confluence
I feel this looks cooler than it actually is. On the outside it looks huge and like it would be bigger than Part Dieu but on the inside there are very few shops. A little disappointing, but it is really pretty.
The restaurants are nice as they have rooftops that look out on to the river. Here is us having a nice meal together.
Some Hidden Gems
Brandy Melville: so aesthetically pleasing. It's a bit pricey and all their clothes are one size which is a bit unfortunate... even though I didn't find clothes my size I did find really cute pieces of jewellery!
Gossyp : it's right opposite Brandy Melville. It's super cute! It is small but has really affordable clothing and unique styles. Its the type of clothing you'd get on sites like Pretty Little Thing and Missguided, if that's your style.
Seven: this shop doesn't look amazing on the outside but inside its got some really nice pieces. I got some really nice trousers there and they were a perfect fit.
Subdued: this was such a cool shop. Everything was laid out so nicely and their styles were super cool. Very urban outfitters vibes. Very pricey though...
Citadium: if you like your street / hipster style, then this is the place to be. It also looks soooo cool on the inside, even if it's not your style its so nice to look at. It's amazing for guys, girls and unisex clothing.
Rituals: the prettiest shop ever. Its got massive blossom trees inside and you can try on the lotions and soaps. The store assistants are so nice and you really do get 5 star treatment. Be prepared to chat in French to them!!
